OUR MISSION

Mission Statement

At WUFAW, our mission is to be a leader in promoting and upholding the welfare of companion animals through education, advocacy, and direct action on a global scale. We aim to reduce the suffering of animals by implementing and supporting international programs to combat dog and cat overpopulation.

To achieve this goal, WUFAW advances the humane treatment of animals by providing high-quality care through initiatives such as free spay/neuter clinics, TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return), community outreach, and with our on-the-ground Animal Care Team. Specifically, WUFAW serves and partners with rescue groups and animal clinics in impoverished communities, distributing vital veterinary medical supplies, providing funding, and offering hands-on support to empower organizations in developing countries to sterilize, vaccinate, rescue, rehabilitate, and ultimately save more animals’ lives.
