Skid Row is an area in downtown Los Angeles known for its condensed population of homeless people and their pets, with an estimated 10,000+ living across 50 city blocks.

In the summer of 2023, a local rescuer, Jenn Sims, alerted us to the dire situation regarding the animals. Dog breeding, dog fighting, dogs left in the sun with no food or water, cats having nonstop litters, and suffering from fleas. The list goes on and on.

Our Animal Care Team decided we needed to help this disregarded community and now regularly visits the area to offer free vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, and overall wellness checks. Provide dog/cat food, beds, collars, leashes, and other necessary provisions.
